W. Hancock & Sons Hancock was the most famous breweries in the country
starting in 1806, it became on of the biggest breweries in the west of England
the malt used by Hancocks was made from barley grown in the nearby Porlock
area of West Somerset.
W. Hancock teamed up with S.W. Arnold of Rowbarton, Taunton in 1927
this created Arnold and Hancock ginger beer.
